Concrete Garages
Each home at Cahill Park begins with a structurally reinforced concrete garage. The floors and walls of the private two-car garage are constructed of concrete poured in place with steel forms. We use concrete as the material for your home that will come into contact with water, dirt, insects, and sprinklers. Many other builders use less expensive wood construction for their garages, which we feel doesn’t mix very well with these elements of nature.

Townhome Design
Each home at Cahill Park is a discrete multi-story townhome with a private two-car direct access garage. We design homes in which you don’t live on top of anyone and no one lives on top of you, like some college dormitory. You park in your own private garage, not some scary parking garage that reminds you of the mall. You and your guests have a private front door arrival through your own yard area. The party wall construction system described below enhances the sense of privacy and distinction of your home. The architecture is designed to have details, materials and colors that distinguish each home from its neighbors in true historic row townhome tradition.

Party Wall
A key feature in the Cahill Park townhome design is the party wall system separating homes. Two separate and complete wall systems are constructed with an air gap separation between homes. The entire party wall system consists of two separate layers of gypsum drywall boards, two layers of plywood sheathing, two wood framed stud walls – each with its own set of insulation - and the air gap for a total wall system thickness of ten inches.

Factory Engineered Construction
The homes of Cahill Park utilize state of the art manufacturing technology in their construction. Entire components of each home are engineered in a manufacturing plant, shipped to Cahill Park and assembled into townhome buildings on-site.


Why do we build this way? Would you buy a new automobile that was put together in a muddy field, with a pile of materials left to the elements rather than one engineered in a modern factory? Then why would you purchase a home built that way? The manufacturing facility for the Cahill Park homes is a climate controlled, well lit environment that utilizes steel jigs, laser alignment tools and quality-controlled processes at each stage of manufacturing.

Each home begins with a poured in place reinforced concrete garage. The factory engineered components of each home are set in place on top of the garage with the aid of a crane and are permanently welded together. Attention to Detail
Our townhomes have been constructed with a special focus on materials in key areas. The window package has been upgraded to include energy-efficient double paned acoustic windows. The solid-wood raised panel doors inside our homes are noticeably different from the hollow doors offered in many other new homes. You’ll also find features that other builders consider upgrades come standard with your Cahill Park home – air conditioning, mirrored closet doors in the bedrooms and tiled floors in the bathrooms just to name a few.
